With Homespun Bazaar less than a month away, festival organisers are thrilled to announce a bunch of new additions that will have attendees feeling like they’re about to cash in one of Willy Wonka’s coveted Golden Tickets.

Committed to bringing live music to regional audiences, Homespun Bazaar, which is being held in the rural town of Kooralbyn on 29 October, boasts a strong line-up of local musicians and countless market stalls that will keep you more than entertained during the 12 hours its opening its doors.

Already bursting with local talent including metal maestros Kold Creature, country-rock troubadours Byron Short & The Sunset Junkies and indie cool kids Dave Is A Spy, Homespun’s four new acts – Simon Gardner & The Big Sky, Richard Triggs, Bailey Rivera and Hannah McLeod – complete an epic line-up.

“We held off on finishing the line-up until we had the perfect balance. For $2 we’ve got 22 artists playing, it’s going to be one hell of a day out,” said festival co-founder Renee Barlow.

“If you want to see what music, and community spirit really can do to help rural Australia, you’ll want to come see this phenomenon flourish.”

As a community-orientated festival, organisers are also proud to announce that all of proceeds from the $2 entry fee are being donated to a local family in need.

“We have a very sick little girl who lives in a town nearby, whose family could really use a helping hand.  We are so grateful to have the opportunity to give entry fees from Homespun Bazaar to these people in our community.”

After consulting their Youth Ambassadors, the festival will also have plenty of things to keep the littlies entertained too with a jumping castle, face painting, colouring-in competition, Beaucare play trough and more.

They’ll also be a raffle on the day, with some incredible prizes donated by locals up for grabs. Most notably, entrants will go in the running to win one of four scenic flights around the Kooralbyn area.

“The raffle is just one of the things we’ve got to keep the festival going strong. Of course, another huge part of Homespun Bazaar is the handmade and homegrown market stalls.  We have so many special things that you don’t normally see at your everyday markets which have been beautifully crafted by very talented people.”

With so much to hear, see and do, the main dilemma for attendees will be deciding what to do and when.

If you’re looking for an incredible day out, grab a bunch of your friends and start organising your road trip to Homespun Bazaar!
