To bid the sunny season farewell, Brisbane pop-soul loves Inigo are throwing one massive FREE party at the Motor Room this Saturday night.
They’ll be joined by fellow locals Neighbour for a night full of music, special guests, freebies (think merchandise and tracks) and sweet surprises.
While summer is the season of holidays and music festivals, lead singer Erin Fitzsimon is looking forward to kissing the muggy heat of Brisbane summer goodbye.
“I LOATHE the heat. I always say, it’s super easy to add a layer in the cold, but nothing can be done when you’re sweating in your undies in front of the fan,” she said.
“In saying that though, our Motor Room gig will be full of sweaty dancers, but the good, appropriate kind!”
The night will also be extra celebratory for the band, who have just been announced as finalists in the ‘Urban’ category of the Queensland Music Awards for their song Constant Beat.
“We’re feeling pretty chuffed about the QMA nomination, and have so much planned for the show this Saturday night. I’m not giving it away though, you’ll just have to come along!”
So put on your best summer outfit and the comfiest dancing shoes you own, and get down to the Motor Room to groove (and sweat it out) with Inigo!
Inigo play The Motor Room this Saturday night, 20 February. All event details available here.
