A throwback to the heyday of 90s Australian rock music that birthed the nation’s festival era, the inaugural Spring Loaded Festival is bringing back the spirit of beloved events like Big Day Out and Homebake for one glorious day. WINTER SOLSTICE FESTIVAL | 22 June | Brisbane, QLD

In honour of the longest night of the year, Northey St City Farm in Brisbane is hosting their annual Winter Solstice Festival featuring live music, dancing, talks and workshops for all ages, yummy food, a lantern parade and of course a mesmerising bonfire. Hitting the stage are local band Tin Star, singer-songwriter Mark Moroney, the funky Formidable Vegetable Sound System, and Sunny Coast band Bearfoot. A musical extravaganza showcasing the best of Australian music of the past, present, and future, Hot Fest is turning up the heat this winter with their Legends & Up-Comers edition on Queensland’s Gold Coast. NECK OF THE WOODS MUSIC FESTIVAL | 29-30 June | Pinnacles, QLD

Showcasing over 20 hours of some of the best upcoming songwriters and bands in the country, Neck Of The Woods Music Festival is a local music and lifestyle event set on a property amongst the Pinnacles Mountain Range, 30 minutes from the Townsville CBD.
